new Alfa owner here with a resetting problem

Hi all,  Im  new Alfa owner of a 2004 Spider GTv convertible.

The airbag light on the dash remains on and here in Darwin there are NO authorised
Alfa repairers. One mechanic says it needs to be reset.

Does anybody know how this is done

you really need to find a mech who has the right comp to reset it, there is also software out there that you can put onto ur laptop and then plug in ur car and reset it that way, there is a thread on here somewhere about it, also has the car  been in an accident before if so a reset might not do the trick as the front sensor maybe broken in which case you need a new one, but you can always pull the clustor/warning light panel out and cover the light up so you cannot see it thats what i did to one when i needed a rwc
