Tony Gaze OAM, DFC and two bars, Australian Spitfire ace and Grand Prix racing driver. It reads like a 'Boy's Own' adventure story, but it is fact, not fiction. Tony Gaze has a litany of remarkable achievements to his credit resulting from his two careers: as a fighter pilot with the RAF during World War II and as a racing driver afterwards. First Australian driver to compete in World Championship Grand Prix races, he was also the driving force behind establishing Goodwood racing circuit

Next week's  edition of popular ABC TV show "Talking Heads" (monday @6.30 pm in melbourne )  will feature a story on , Tony Gaze, A real Australain Hero. Although in his eighties Tony was last seen smouching up to the Alfetta 159 at Philip Island earlier in the Year
