Glen thats interesting. How did you compress the spring?

I did it with a T handle bolted to the bearing caps, the rope holds the valve the T handle pushes the spring.

please do not laugh at the graphics [ simple is best ]

Ok so is that a t-handle with a wobble bar toward the end and a plate welded on the end to attach it to the bearing cap studs?

It would be easier if you have welder and a drill press to make the tool, but if you dont it can still be easily done. To secure the tool You need a bracket for the bearing caps with a pivot point. you dont even need a T handle just a lever, another piece of tube down to the vavle with a cutout to retreive the collets you could make one in no time................ :) to easy

Glen thanks for the info. I have a workshop that I keep a fleet of hire gokarts held together with so it shouldnt be to hard. I might make up a tool using a spare head i have. Who knows i might even use it one day.

Hi BT

What fuel do you use in the carts

I'm thinking use the carts as a constant .. what fuel is best at pushing the carts along and saving the business money
do you have a contract for fuel or do you buy where you can for the best $
what brand plug
honestly you could write a PHD on this subject
what kills the carts............. children and grannys.............. or 17 yr old world be if could be champions

We use E10 in the carts.
It cuts the emissions and reduces detonation from the aftermarket flat top piston in the honda (stationary motor).
Its also cheap.
Plugs are same as the alfa BP7es.
What destroys the carts lololol. There is your thesis. Can I sumerise by saying 'People that can not drive'

The only issue thus far with the E10 after 2 years is that anything rubber/plastic becomes quiet hard ie:fuel lines, filters, fuel pumps ect
