Hey guys this day could be a bit of work  !!

Actually as all prior attendees know, you get an A4 colour printout of the result.  Last year there was a need to collate all info and we were given the full results from the days testing with power figures but no names.

This year, as you come out of the Dyno Room with the test results, we will note your name, car and peak result so we can match off and collate for the days results.
All good.

P.S. News Alert - We now have catering arranged for midday lunch plus usual assortment of drinks. Note free for dyno participants however $10.00 for visitors. .

Hi John

I am thinking I can bring my computer and printer/scanner along to gather the printout.

That would make it a lot easier.

They just write their name and vehicle details on the sheet and scan it.

Is there any way we can get the raw data output from the dyno, or is that already planned?

Thanks for organizing a good day John..

I have the raw data, PM me with your email address, and your name, your dat number off your result sheet would help too.  Not sure why you want it though, it doesn't tell you any more than the sheet you got given?

Hi John

A big thank you for organizing a pretty good day, socially and also involving some kind of Alfa performance related aspect.

It is certainly a thankless task and I know it, so thank you.

It was also good to catch up, see and meet the various different members of different interest in their Alfa but all with the common quest to find out how their Alfa's are performing.  Well honestly, I didn't really, now the truth really hurts.

It was good to see the various Alfa's, from the modern, jazzed up ones of 147's, GTV's, 156 and 159, to some classics of 116 and 105 and finally with some racing Alfa's, good to see the owners making the effort to trailer them down.

Anyway, thanks John for all the work, and thanks for the truth, now I know why I can't go faster around the track.  Yes, I am blaming it on the Alfa.

Regards
Neil

In the near future i'll be doing a few simple mods to the car, it would be good to have the raw data as a baseline so i can see where the difference is.

PM sent.

I think there is some work to be done there! I'll spend some time in the mid semester break to see whats what. Really happy with the way the car is handling now though with the suspension work. Cant wait to get it out on the track again once i sort out the steering rack. Thanks to John and Benincas for a great day.

Deano , you might want to have a look at that rear brake bias value to. Spearing off backwards at the end of the main straight at Philip Island in the wet must be a real attention getter . ha ha

Hi there and thanks for feed back and coments.

It was actually a rewarding Club activity, both socially and from vehicle perspective.  Performace data can be of some value - especially when improving up your car.  Results will be made available.

Some details:
- Quality catering was an important change (thank you Neil)
- we had about 45 plus people there.
- approx 40 cars went thru the Dyno.

The result - a traffic jam, lots a people all over the place but a fun day.

Next year will be interesting.

That's ok Paul.

Yes Beninca Brothers' help make all of this possible. They need to be congratulated for their time and effort.

Regional members come down to Melbourne and in turn, some of us will partake in your areas activities.

All good.
