Fitting a new soft top

Got to fit a new Robbins Soft Top to my spider since the original is now caput.

Is there some one in Sydney that does this. I'm out at Parramattta.

I've heard that some guys do it themselves but I'd prefer to have it done by someone that's done it plenty times before so it does'nt leak.

Hello freddy........I am taking my wife`s z3 in for a new top to "Convertible soft top repairs" in a couple of weeks time. The guy works in Artarmon and sounded like he knew what he was talking about when I booked it in. I bought a top from USA which he said might be OK but the imported ones are not always easy to install........some are better than others as you might appreciate. i haven`t received any recommendations from others about this place so hope his work is good....will know in a couple of weeks time.
I also spoke to a guy in Newcastle who had recently replaced an alfa spider top and he said it was tricky, time consuming and not something he would do again as he couldn`t make any money from it. best of luck...let us know how you go if you arrange something before i get the z3 done.

The z3 soft top replacement went well and i am well pleased with the result. The guy is very good and has everything of best quality that you will need. I had bought a reasonably cheap soft top from the states and he said it was not as good as ones he supplies so it took a bit longer to get right when he installed it. i would recommend this place based on my experiencewith him
