In car navigation/media centre - anybody tried this?

Hi all,

I'm looking into the Pioneer AVIC-F910BT in car navigation/media centre and just wondered if anybody has tried any of these aftermarket systems before?

I'm mainly concerned with whether they are going to cause the car's computer to return errors etc.

My second concern is maintaining steering wheel functionality. Has anybody used those adapters and had any luck?

I'm pretty new to all this so all advice welcome.
