Hi,
does anyone know of a place in Adelaide to get spare keys for 83 GTV6 cut? Approximate costs? I only have one of each key at the moment...
Cheers
Marty

I just bought some blanks for my 86 GTV6 from the US on Ebay.

Had to hunt around to get them cut, I was told that very few locksmiths have the equipment because only a small number of Euro cars used that key type.
A local locksmith here in Victoria cut them for me, he wasn't 100% sure he had the right code, but he got it right and they work perfectly.

Have noticed since that someone in Australia is selling the blanks on ebay.

Sorry, I didn't answer your question properly.
Blank keys cost me about $15, the cutting cost about $40. The tool they use to cut them are worth thousands and they are only good for a limited no. of cuts thus the high cost!
