Group Discussion help..?

can anyone please give me any sort of tips to do well in group discussion sessions organized by companies for placement purposes...any general idea about what a group discussion is and the do's and dont's of a Group discussion.

In the past I used a booklet called Destination Decisions (Education Dept.) - it looks at different ways to reach decisions in group discussions & how committees (should) work. You should find a copy in a local library.
