Can I fit H4 headlamps to the Sud?

Contemplating removing the inner headlamps for better air flow to cooler and air intake. Can anyone advise on converting the outer headlamps to be combined high/low beams?

Have not converted my outer headlamps on the Sud but did fit a second larger diameter air intake pipe to the air cleaner many years ago and made a noticeable improvement on Beninca's dyno (as much as 5 hp). Air cleaner now has two inlet pipes and fitted the second pipe between the RHS inner and outer headlamps (and removed some plastic from headlamps surround for better air flow).

Playing with the air cleaner can really provide HP improvements for no cost.
