My idiot flatmate managed to snap the key of in the door of his alfa 75 the other day. He has no spare keys and half an original key. I have managed to break into the car but i was wondering if anyone has experience in the best way of having some new keys cut.
Should i remove the ignition barrel and take it to a locksmith?
Can I use the door barrel as this is easy to remove and its the same key as the ignition?
Can a locksmith come to the car and cut a new key?
Does anyone have two door locks and an ignition barrel with keys for a 75?
Of course i will phone some locksmiths tomorrow or friday.
Cheers

I've had spares for my GTV made up from these guys - they even made a spare door key.

You can also get the same type of keys with the cloverleaf on them :)
