Hi, I am still looking for an original Hellebore Steering Wheel for my 1750 GTV 105 (71 model)

There are a few different Hellebore Steering Wheels. I am after the one that has a shallow dish with the wooden rim and the 3 long horn buttons in the 3 spokes of the wheel (see link below)

I currently have the deeper dish Hellebore steering wheel that is common on the 2000 GTV's, it is in reasonable condition but would welcome a restoration, If interested I would be pleased to trade this one for the earlier type.

If anyone has one of these steering wheels lying around or knows where I can find one, please contact me.

Have you tried the usual Alfa suppliers?

Monza Motors, Mauceri Motors, Maranello Pur Sang, Milano Wreckers, or interstate The Spares Place, Turin Imports, or Rob Panetta at Manning Motors in Sydney?

I'd have thought a quick ring around would find you the correct wheel real quickly.

Thanks Evan, A number of supplies you have mentioned are new names to me so this is very helpful. My preference would be to find a sound original wheel rather than a repro. They come up on Ebay occasionally but they are almost always from abroad. I will get on the blower tomorrow to some of these contacts.
Thanks again.

Here is a perfect one:

Pricey maybe? But try to find another like this..

I've bought alot of items on ebay.it and i've NEVER had any trouble. Items always arrive speedily and in perfect condition.  I'd estimate 40-50 euro's for shipping. He states that he'd ship worldwide.

This is a 1750 Berlina wheel. They are a larger diameter and have a thinner, painted, plastic rim - not wood.  They're still a nice wheel (I have one in my Berlina and really like it) but it may be too big for a GT.

Thank you all for your assistance on this matter.
I have dug deep and purchased the steering wheel on ebay Italy as recommended by alfa75gta.
It is a little more than I wanted to pay but it appears to be in exceptional condition. I was very close to buying a new Nardi wheel and is it turns out the wheel I have purchased is similar money.

I'm now hopeful that it arrives safely!

Goodluck with the purchase! I think an original wheel adds value to a car anyhow. You can always buy another Nardi but the Alfa wheels are so nice and it allows you to retain the original boss.  I've seen after-market wheels fitted and often they either obscure the dials or require a full hands length to reach the indicator stalks.

Let us see a pic when you get it fitted!
