Our 164 has fallen into disuse now that we've got a new modern.  Is anyone interested in saving it from the scrappers?  It's a good loyal car.

The good:
- only 208,000km - good for another 100,000 at least.
- solid 3.0L, had some oil leaks from the cam covers but resolved, starts on the button and runs beautifully.
- cam belts were done a couple of years ago, not large mileage since then but I'd have to check.
- replaced water pump last year.
- half-worn dunlop tyres on the front, 3/4 worn on the rear.
- brand new battery December last year
- lovely velour seats, really comfortable.  Original leather still in the rear (cracked and hard) but I have the velour set for there too (see pics).

The ugly:
- has a scrape down the LH side, would need a touch up on the front left guard and LH front door.
- paint faded on the roof.
- steering rack bushes are worn.
- air con stepper gears broke - air con is stuck pointing at the windscreen.  Blows beautiful cold air, just not at you.  Easy fix, just have to pull the dash apart :-)

Rego till April.  Offered 'as is' with no RWC.  $1200.  (He's dreamin').

Don't ask for the engine, if it doesn't sell complete then the engine already has a home...

That beautiful behind.

This was/is a beautiful car - was fantastic for the three hour highway drive up to the farm and back, or for long distance freeway cruising.
