Hi all
I know I'm not the best with a spanner, but I didn't think I am this bad...
I have to get the GTV inspected to get Tassie rego, and one of the things they check is the horn. It's not working, but the relay is, my question is where on earth is the sounder located  ??? My Hanes manual doesn't have anything in it, and I can't seem to see it anywhere.
Any help is appreciated, any critisism duly deserved  ;)
Thanks
Scott.

On my '80 GTV it's located behind the passenger-side headlights.

Thanks for the reply Kartone, it is sitting in there, now to swap it out with the spare, and hope it works...

Be aware there are two - one on either side behind the headlights.

I can see a mounting point on the right side, but no horn there. THere's only the one on the left.

For some bizzare reason i have found that if one horn stops working then so does the other and if you swap one to the left and one to the right the dud one causes the other one not to work and you can have a good 12 volts at the positive to the horn and it still won't work, i have found the best solution is to go to K-mart or Repco and buy 2 new ones for $20-$30, as you can spend hours stuffing around because they are full of water and or are stuffed, but make sure you get FIAMM as it is an Italian car, Colin.

Was a simple fix, got the horn outt of the parts car, known as working, and connected it up. All now working fine, and not a problem on the roadworthy inspection.  ;D
