I am needing some new plastic clips which hold the stainless steel trim just below the doors on the sills of my 75 Berlina. They are circular mushroom head about 10mm diam with 10 mm stalk which has a removable pin and fit into maybe a 6 or 7 mm hole. I can salvage about five of the old clips which means I am short about 13 or so.
1 Does anyone have any? or
2 Are they available somewhere? or
3 Are there other clips for other cars which might fit the bill......i couldn`t find anything which would do the job at repco or autopro after looking over those stands with small packets of screws/fittings which they have.
I am not keen to use sikaflex or other tapes but am at a loss at the moment.
I also realise i made a mistake just levering the trims off as this has caused many of the old clips to break. it looks like the best way to re-install the trims would be to fit all of the clips onto the sill first and then to slide the trim onto them starting at the back end. Any comments from others who have tried this would be welcome.
Thanks in advance

Rare Spares, Bayswater and Bill Thomson Auto Rubbers in Bayswater have a good range of clips, i got some clips to hold a Sud sill trim on there, Colin.

Thanks colcol, I got some white plastic door trim clips for a ford (i think) from rare spares and with some modifications i should be able to get them to fit. I will try to post a pic if I can work out how to do it.

i mean nv or vp commodore door trim clips. The pic shows the old dirty clip and new ones ready to push the trim onto the sill, I hope!
