Low kilometers

 After reading about the guilia for sale with 25000 kms, i started to think with me being a big gtv6 fan that i have never seen one with low kms. Are they around, is someone preserving a pristene original. I've had 3 all with around 80000 or is that when the odometers stop working.

Honestly who would know - mine came with a choice of odometer readings aka 2 speedo head units, and it is so easy to change them out how could you ever tell what you are getting. Best chance is to look at the car, not the odometer I think... most would have had 3+ owners in their lives by now I suspect.

I suppose there has to be a reason why a car in 'original' condition has low Kms. 

While some people may have multiple cars, you would have to purchase a car from an original owner(or estate) and then basically drive it very occasionally.

Also, with newer cars (Post 1999), there have been a few on the market over the last year but that's another story again - probably a car with the owner having an 'inner city lifestyle", i.e. who walks to work or catches public transport.

I have five GTV6's three with under 100,000 KM's from new ranging from 59,000 to 89,000KM.
They are coming up for sale soon as I will be losing my seven car garage space.
After 25 years of Alfa ownership I only know of one other genuine under 100,000 KM car and that's in Melbourne.
The sad part is,buyers are not prepared to pay for the low KM cars at this point in time unless they are brought back to concourse condition.
