G'day 116ers,

About to change the carbie mounts on my Alfetta, they are the late type with allen key bolts. Just wondering do I have to remove the inlet manifold like the earlier type or can I get the mounts off from the front without removing inlet manifold ?

Only familiar with the earlier type

Thanks in advance

Cheers

No there is no need to remove the manifold, which makes life a lot easier, and new manifolds are not interchangeable with old ones, slightly different water jacket holes. Have you already sourced the replacement parts yet? I have a set of brand new rubber mounts for sale if your interested, though I'm in Sydney.

Thanks djm,

Thats good to hear thanks for the offer but have already sourced parts, cant wait to change the mounts
which should result in it running a lot better than it is at the moment.

Thanks again
