old TS and new TS questions

hay guys just want to know are any of the parts from the old 75 TS engine compatible with the newer style TS`s out of the newer gtv etc or vice versa. eg (pistons,rods)

No, they are completely different engines, the 'old' twin spark was a proper Alfa Romeo engines withs it roots back in the 50's, it was a 2 valve head with an alloy block, the twin sparks on the 147-156 series cars first saw light of day on the 145-146-155 series Alfa Romeo's, they are a Fiat based engine, with a 4 valve head and a cast iron block, the JTS engines are also used in a Lancia, if there are any parts interchangeable i would be very surprised, Colin.

Alfaholics latest version uses the 8valve, chain driven, twinspark head off the early 155's.  It's the last iteration of heads that will fit a Nord (Nord/75/155). May have appeared on a few 164' too?

If anybody knows of a spare one, I'm looking for a one to play with for a project (on a TS75 block) :)
