finally bought one! 1982 GTV 2.0. She's red, rebuilt gearbox, new clutch. Mechanically perfect.

interior needs a little attention but apart from that...its leather!

Think she just needs a tune, doesnt like idling.

Was Leather an option in '82?  Or would this be an aftermarket thing?

i was told it was done by the factory after it was brought here.

Also found out that it was the customer runaround for Pur Sang for many years. Thats who the previous owner bought it off.

took it to Michael @ Ital motors yday, she needs a new head gasket (with potential head damage  ), new windscreen, new front left tyre and a cpl other little things.
Also gonna fix some of the rust while we got the windscreen out.

looks like the roadworthy is a gonna take a lil longer than expected!
