Thanks for posting this Sheldon, it's a really interesting story.
I was lucky enough to cut my teeth on the track in a Lotus 7 powered by a Kent motor (my very nervous fathers pride and joy) and that was an amazing car. The front guards act like a parachute down the straight but the handling and acceleration was outstanding. The car in this story would be a weapon!
