79 alfetta oil

Hi - just wondering what's the best oil to use for my 79' alfetta sedan (2 litre, 4 cylinder). Had it for ages but largely let the mechanic do everything to it. I'm not driving it as much now, so don't need to take it to the mechanic but still want to change the oil once a year myself.

A bit harsh Choderboy, I have always used Penrite HPR 30 oil in my Alfetta 2.0 for many years and would highly recommend it.

Choderboy - I had a fall out with my mechanic. He ripped me off and then I found out the work wasn't done properly or with the care I expected for that price. As a result I don't want to deal with him at all.

During which time it has been at least 3 different oils....  None of them bad though - just thought it worth pointing out....
