However, there is a cheap 16 year old device I am installing which I know will make it go faster and seems to be working.

I was watching your video and thinking you could make up some time through turn one pretty easily.  Having the speed on the video tells the story.  It looks like you're coasting from the time you turn in to turn one until you get to the exit of Southern Loop.  

What we should see is full power from the time you get to the apex in turn one, or even slightly before, until you get to the braking point for Southern Loop.  Use all the exit, enter Southern Loop either on the left hand side of the road or slightly to the right (no more than 1/3 of the way over) and brake into the corner.   Balance the car around the corner, double apex and get on the power as soon as you can to use all the exit and maximise speed to Honda.  

Well, that's my version.  Others will have their's of course!

The video is slightly deceptive - I was actually braking as I turned into turn 1, and then hard on the throttle as soon as I dared. It doesn't look like it because the car just doesn't have the grunt to make much headway against the hill. I'm probably scrubbing too much speed off at the entry to T1, because as you point out I have plenty of road available on the exit. The feedback is good - lots of things to try next time out.
