Hi All,

I've just purchased a 1989 Alfa 75 2.5 V6 (Auto - YAY! No shift linkage issues) and am very keep to meet up with other like-minded Alfisti.

The car is in pretty good shape, but suffers from the usual Alfaisms like engine oil leaks, a stuck sunroof and slightly faded paint on the bonnet, roof and bootlid.

If anyone has a good Alfa mechanic they'd like to recommend that can do the job for a reasonable price I'd me very grateful indeed!

Many thanks,
Andrew..

John,

I live in Melbourne. The car was purchased in SA and driven back to Melbourne *almost* trouble-free except for the exploding sunroof. But that's just part of the fun =)

The car will be worked on for the next few months in preparation for registration in VIC and hopefully will become a very nice weekender.

G,day and Welcome,

Great to see another classic Alfa. The 75 is a great car, the last of the real Alfa Romeos. ;) Enjoy :)

Cheers Paul

Thanks Paul. Great to see someone else who appreciates the last of the true Alfa Romeos!

Doesn't count, they're front-wheel-drive.

I'll be back in NZ at the end of the year Brad, remind me and I'll get you a chocolate fish.  I think I still owe a couple to people on this forum...
