John I might be missing something in your posting, but are you suggesting that they are too expensive, too cheap or    is it perhaps a case of if only they were in Aus 

Certainly the Sprint is going to need extensive work to restore back to original.  The notion of making it into a hotrod is pretty galling.  And it will cost heaps to do.

The two spiders seem from my observations of the US market to be probably about right on the money being asked.  Mind you I have recently seen a number of cheaper spiders for sale, some needing a degree of work but not beyond hope.

Giuliettas/Giulias of this vintage are so desirable and collectible.

Yep.  Agreed.

David that hotrod possibility is somewhat pitiful end as the car has a v8 as is.

Absolutely have to agree John re both matters.  Bloody hell a crap V8 in a classic Alfa, how putrid.

Yep regrettably such Alfas are well outside of my reach, so have to be happy with what I have, which in itself is not too bad.
