The other day I procured a set of original steel wheels for my 1750GTV (thanks Gary!).  I took off the performance hotwire mags (with matching chromed wheel nuts) that I'm planning to off-load to another club member, but now I have a problem of getting original wheel nuts.  I sourced a box of assorted RH thread nuts, but have no LH thread nuts to go on the left hand side.

Question 1: what did the original wheel nuts look like?  What spanner size were they?  Were they open or solid?  These were the ones to fit under the large 1750 hub caps.

Question 2: anybody got a set of LH thread ones?  or know where I can get them from?

classicalfa.com lists stainless 22mm open LH thread wheel nuts for £3.75 each (http://www.classicalfa.com/shop/category34_1.htm) - these sound right but I'd rather raid someone's shed for something that will be under a hubcap anyway.

The other photo shows a little of my interminably slow progress on stripping the car itself, I've just put up some more shelving in the garage to help store some of what I remove and as it warms up I might be more likely to continue work!
