Initial shakedown run occurred yesterday, while making the return trip to Monty's Tyre Service in Greensborough to get the better tyres on.

Here's a pic of it parked up at work today.

Watch out for a run down shortly, on what we did to get it to this point.

Yesterday's reliability trial was from Kew, along Great Ocean Road to Port Campbell and back (inland) to Park Orchards.

Between 8 and 9 hours driving only saw two issues;

• When the fuel level got about half way it got a bit rough (needs investigation in the pickup side), was managed by refilling the tank.
• I need to install the amp for the iPod, it was freaking boring with no music!!!!

The in tank fuel pump was cactus, got a new one being delivered tomorrow hopefully not a massive drama fitting it....

New fuel pump fitted and the beastie started up nicely ... getting a bit excited now!
