Hi all,
LH brake light is blown, was going to change it, opened the boot and I have no idea how to get to it.
Has anyone done this before?  ???
I know I have to unscrew a few stuff, thought I'd ask before I start disassembling things  ::)

Thanks.

Like most new cars, you cannot pull the back off the tail lights to access the globes, you usually undo some fasteners from inside the boot, and the tailights come out from the outside, [not through the boot], some tail lights are held in by clips, so you just grasp the tail light and pull it out, BUT, find out before you break a light, that would be horribly expensive to replace, let us know how you get on, Colin.

Are instructions not included in the owner's manual?
They are for the 159.

The question begs to be asked:

How many mechanics are needed to change a light bulb?

Frank Musco

Neil, I used to work as a mechanic, so..

How many mechanics does it take to change a light bulb? Three. One to scratch his butt, one to order the wrong part and one to tell you it won't be here until next week.

Most GT's have the CD Stacker and fully sick sub woofer at the left rear. Which means it's going to be a pain in the arse, the manual dosn't seem to recogise the BOSE fittings in their procedures.

I also have to replace a leaking rear (condensation) tailight assy. Just have not got to it yet. Try the Ausalfa forum, Shiny Car is a guru on the ICE and so may be able to help with de-construction.
