Ricciardi component cars

Hi All, I've been trawling through old posts regarding these kit cars but cannot find the information[and I know i'ts there] needed to find the supplier and if any components are still available.I would be pleased to hear from anyone who has any comments regarding these interesting cars. A guy by the name of Dave Williams is the man, he is in South Australia, somewhere near the Vic border from my fading unreliable memory.  Last I heard he isn't too interested in building them anymore, but still has some bits and pieces.  Some SA members may chime in with something more concrete.

Thanks for that info. I actually found the post I was looking for,it's back about eight pages and you had responded to that enquiry also.I have enough info now to follow up on including email address for Dave. Thanks again...........Cheers... Ian

Let us know how you get on with Dave Williams. I spoke to him either late last year or early this year and he was very helpful (I was chasing down some history on my car). At the time he said he had a spare rolling chassis, and could make a body if required.

If the chassis hasn't previously been registered you might run into problems if you want to run on the road, though. I think the rules around registering cars like this have changed - when they were new you could register them as the donor Alfa based on the amount of retained chassis (which is stuff all, really), and I don't think you can do that any more.

If you just want a track car then you'll be fine - and have a lot of fun  :)  It's like driving a cross between a 105 coupe and a go kart.
