Sincere thanks to 'Spieret' (Tony) for bringing the attention of Forum users to the Grays Auction (see 'Alfa Parts For Sale') - seems lots of people took advantage of some fantastic lots - all of which sold - some for extraordinarily (high) prices - as for me - I managed to acquire a genuine mint condition 5 mt x .9mt Alfa Romeo vinyl banner to use at our Italian Car Enthusiasts events here in Tasmania (fortunately bought for an extraordinarily low price).

But the thrust of my message regards fellow Forum member 'Cool Jesus' (John) who offered without any expectation for recompense to collect, package and deliver the Grays items for everyone who purchased. What a fantastic service to Forum members 'Cool Jesus' provided.

John certainly represents the best of the 'Alfisti' spirit and yours truly was certainly appreciative of his generosity, time and selflessness more so because I'm in Launceston and the goods were in Sydney and they had to be collected as a condition of auction ..... - give praise where praise is due - a round of applause for 'Cool Jesus' everyone !

Cool Jesus

OK guys, I'd also like to give a few snaps for a few members that helped myself out just recently in my call for assistance.

I'd like to thank 'EEZE', 'alfagtv58' and especially 'michaeljc'. 'michaeljc' literally bent over backwards in helping me to off load Aircon parts he was giving away. After a few weeks of logistics and emails back and forth, along with further offers for transporting the items by other members I managed to arrange their safe delivery at minimal expense too... I actually could have had this whole transaction completed gratis, but felt it was too much to ask (and I wasn't strapped for cash).

Thanks heaps guys, this is exactly what club and forum membership is all about (in my view at least). Giving each other a hand where possible and it's a regular theme within threads that I come across in this forum (which is the main reason I joined up). Its good to see, and thanks again
