Having just done a really dodgy repair to get a car rolling, I thought there must be heaps of 'alfa' style repairs that people have done that work. So;
My first pic is of the front right suspension of an Alfetta GTV. I needed to get the car rolling so I could put it on a trailer but didn't have an upper ball joint. So, with a rear a/r bar drop link and a front bumper bracket and voila! It made it onto the trailer and off again.

The second pic is from my first TS install. I wanted to test the engine but didn't have an air filter so used some plastic gardening mesh rolled up, put a sports sock over the top and held it on with a cable tie! You will also notice the upper radiator hose is two pieces cut and joined to make the requisite shape and held together with a piece of copper tube inside and plenty of hose clamps. Never failed once or leaked.
