For Sale...

Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 Race car – Dec 1994 build.

I have decided to sell my 155 Q4 racecar, as I have another Alfa Romeo project in mind – and I prefer to have only one racecar at a time.

It is a fast and fully modified vehicle which performs well on the track and could be driven a lot faster than I care to push it. It's truly an awesome car to drive and a lot of fun.
The car currently produces 330bph (at the wheels - at 6800 RPM) on Beninca's dyno @ only 1.2 bar boost.  Interested parties can talk to me directly re the modifications that this car has, but here is a summary:

Engine: Uniquely designed forged pistons and rods.  Custom made cams, balance shaft removal system, adjustable vernier pulleys, fully race prepared head. Cometic MLS head gasket –
T3/T4 hybrid turbo

Engine has Less than 5 running hours. 210 lb. compression each cylinder.

Clutch: solid paddle race clutch.

Brakes: Brembo GTA calipers with 310MM rotors: Pads Project Mu (new)

Suspension: Designed for the 155 Q4 by D2 suspension systems. Complete replacement of all components to a full race setup.

Wheels: (a) Compomotive 16x8 for slicks. (b). lightweight 16x7 for wets.

Tyres: dunlop race slicks (need replacing) and Khumo R spec Wets (brand new)

ECU: Autronic SM4 setup by Joe Beninca.

Fuel System: E85 based system with two race fuel pumps and 1000cc injectors.

Exhaust: custom made SS ceramic coated extractors with 3" SS tubing and race muffler.

Datalogger - fully wired in Race Technology DL-1 with many logged inputs

Seat etc: Sparco Circuit race seat with 3" 5 point harness.

Trailer: custom built tandem trailer to suit.

Spares: A near complete spare engine - with a 2nd fully race prepared head.

it takes a lot of time to put together a car like this. I have spared little expense on it.  As this is a technically complex car, I will provide a year of free technical advice to its new owner.

price 15k complete.

Damn, I haven't looked at the forum in the past week and have missed my opportunity to add to my Jim Nielsen collection. I'll be on the look out in four years' time Jim.

Best of luck with the new project.

Cheers,

Brent
