Well,

Just took delivery of my first 'new' 105 since last century!

Its a S1 1750 Berlina sedan. Olive metallic in colour and around 60k on the clock (believed orginal). I am the 3rd owner.

Haven't really had time to have a decent play yet......

Here are some pics. enjoy!

A superb car, obviously maintained to a very high standard, you are indeed fortunate to find such a fine example[lucky bugger!] I hope you thanked the original owner profusely for keeping it in such exemplory condition for you! Congratulations! Cheers........Ian

Gorgeous.  Quite endearing, and a very special example.  I'm really jealous.  Congratulations, and hope to see it on a run soon!

Damned nice condition that Berlina you have managed to liberate from its previous owner. X2 for the Lucky Bugger expression.  Envious as hell springs to mind as well.  Enjoy, a decent Berlina is a real treat.

Stunning, what a beautiful car.

Thanks to all for the kind words....

Doesn't show up in the pics but it will need paint eventually (has had a partial repaint at some time, has crazing & scratches).

Plan is to just tidy it up (will need the odd bush here & there) and maybe throw some mags on it of some description.

Main thing is it all looks pretty straight and pretty much rust free. All original interior (some sunburn on the top of the rear seats).

I have had a few berlinas in the past...but it's strange to see those "blank" front guards with no round side blinkers on them!

Cheers,

Paul.

I love the Berlina's - especially 1750's :-)

For a real treat (and a trip down memory lane), head to Coburg or Dandenong Drive In. Park the car, push the front seats forward, roll them all the way down so they are "flat", coupla stubbies in the fold down between the back seats, and you are in Heaven Mate.

My Berlina was very popular with the mates for this very reason.

Also used as a camping vehicle with my now Wife - converts into a double bed with a hand brake in the middle.

Oh the Memories :-)

Congrats on a great looking car, often overlooked as the ugly step sister to the GTV, but I still managed to drag off a mates 253 V8 wagon once - he was not happy.

Enjoy it and I hope to see it at a club function.

Shane
