4.3:1 diff ratio crown wheel and Pinion swap

Hi to all the experts here,

I am looking to convert my Alfetta diff ratio to 4.3:1

I have a 75 3.0 and a also a 75 TS gearbox, both with LSD that I'd like to know if I can convert to 4.3:1 diff ratio by using the crown wheel and pinion out of an Alfetta sedan? (confirmed to be a 4.3:1).

Application will be for a V6 road / track car.

Is the Crown wheel and Pinion directly swappable between gear boxes? anything special I need to consider?

The crown wheel will need a spacer to align correctly. 4mm from memory. Then all the usual shimming etc.. to set up the ring and pinion. Yes doable, but mot a drop in and go, no pinion crown wheel swap is.
