What's the going rate in Aust. for a second hand 105 LSD (thick or thin half shafts) ??

I could go the Alfaholics route and use my pinon and crown or grab an 2nd hand original. I'd have either serviced/rebuilt.  I can value an original OS easily enough but no have idea here.  I don't particularly want to ring around and bug vendors just yet as I'm months/years away from doing anything other than body work..

Craig, I've got a complete LSD 4:1 that I'll let go of as I've now got a 4:3 - I'll pm you.

Pancho have you still got that 4:1 LSD and would it suit a 1750GT (I think it needs axle modification if its off a 2 litre?).

Hey guys,

I just remembered that it's from a 2 litre Auto - so it's an LSD unit - but not a 4:1 LSD. The C&P is a different ratio. You can still use your own C&P in this housing though to make it an LSD. I was going to go down this route as it would be a 4.56 LSD (zippy!) but I found a 4:3 instead. Still available, if it doesn't sell I'll just keep the shafts etc as spares. If interested PM me and we can go over details.

This is where I got mine done as recommended by a few in the club.

My current diff is not original to the Duetto (it's from a 2L).
Plan is to use this pumpkin and LSD with my axle/diff (crown, pinion, shafts etc).
Shaft and splines should be correct as best as I have researched - opening it up will tell obviously.
If it doesn't work, i'm not that much out of pocket (<A$350./all up). I'm playing :)

I only opened the box this morning.  Pumpkin and LSD only, no crown/pinion/bearing/etc.
No idea of the condition, although the oil smells like catswiss!! (is that normal?)
