All parts are from a 2002 156 2.5 V6 6-speed manual which had done 124,000 fully serviced kilometres. Parts may fit other 932 or 916 series models, will advise where possible but the onus is on the buyer to do the research before committing.

Engine – CF3 2.5 V6 24V. Was in excellent health before the accident (can provide copies of speeding tickets as verification) and did not sustain any damage. It is running fine in situ & I have a brief video available to demonstrate this (does not give a good indication of its health, just shows its idles without making any horrible noises), if you're quick & local you can check it running yourself before I start dismantling. Regularly serviced, all belts and water pump (not a metal one, sadly) replaced  at around 90k/3 years ago (receipts). Engine includes plugs, leads, plenum; does not include ECU, starter motor, air compressor, alternator, exhaust manifolds, PS pump, MAF. $1300.

Gearbox ***SOLD*** – 6-speed fitted with Q2 differential and Amsoil 18 months ago. Smooth change, no signs of any problems. Includes clutch which, although showing no obvious signs of wear while driving, is of unknown health. $1200.

GTA 17" wheels/tyres ***SOLD*** – rims are in fantastic condition, one has a single gutter rash mark (see pic) while the others are unmarked. Tyres are Kumho KU31 225/45 Z-rated, maybe a year old and with plenty of life left. Wheels were aligned when tyres were put on and again less than a year later. $1100.

Mille Miglia rear exhaust box – original cost over $1000 I believe, has been in use for only a very few thousand km since so barely run-in. Unfortunately, the polished tips were lightly buckled in a separate accident and some dickhead exhaust 'specialist' cut these off and replaced them with alternatives. The new tips look great, sound is unchanged, but there is now a weld where there wasn't before so cosmetically it's not perfect (although you'd need to be fussy to notice once installed, and I'm sure it's able to be improved with some detailing). Fits 156 GTA or 2.5 V6, sounds great. Pics to follow once removed from car, but you can check out the manufacturer's website here for images and soundbites - millemiglia.com.au. $350.

ECU – I think these are typically sold together with keys (2), all locks and ignition, feel free to put me straight if that's not the case. $150

Interior – tan Momo leather front/rear seats plus full set of door cards, all in very good condition. Front seats have airbags. With some mods will make a great office or outdoor setting. $300

Weichers front steel strut brace ***SOLD*** -did not expect this to have any effect on the car's dynamics, was wrong. It definitely tightened up the feel of the front end, steering felt more direct. Effective and cheap upgrade. $75

Weichers rear steel strut brace - did not expect this to have any effect on the car's dynamics, was right. Still, looks bling and adds a useful way of securing items in the boot (holds up to four 3-litre wine casks upright behind the seats). $45

Side skirts. Genuine factory skirts, can be easily fitted to any standard 156. Signs of road-wear & the odd crack underneath (naturally) but in good overall condition. Pics to follow. $150/pair

Front splitter ***SOLD*** - not an Alfa part but simple to fit and looks OEM, really improves front-end aesthetics and reduces front-end lift by 120% over standard. Probably. This is a spare which is brand new and has never been fitted. $125

Rear lip spoiler painted in factory Nero (black) ***SOLD*** - will require new double-sided tape, then sticks straight on. $50

Rear bumper - brand new, installed only a few weeks before the accident following an earlier crash. Not been a good year. $200.

4x door shells - all available & undamaged, does not include door cards or internals (ie regulators). $50ea (but buy 3 and I'll throw the 4th one in for frrrreeeee!!)

Eibach ProSystem kit (tuned springs/shocks) ***SOLD*** - will suit 156 V6/156 GTA, possibly other 156 models (pls check), fantastic upgrade and probably the best bang-for-your-buck you can spend. $450
http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad56/L4OMEO/Parts%20for%20sale/Eibachs1.jpg

Eibach ProSystem springs - will suit 156 V6/156 GTA, possibly other 156 models (pls check). $125

156 GTA anti-roll bars (23mm front/16mm rear) - good upgrade for standard 156 models. $150

Bonnet - some signs of accident damage can be seen from certain angles. Should buff out. Does not include grille which is probably still embedded in the arse-end of an EA Falcon. $Free

MAKE AN OFFER

Prices
I have tried to honestly pitch everything at the lower end of the market based on other similar items I've found, or simply taken a random guess. Without sounding like a tired department-store ad, if you can find a similar item cheaper elsewhere let me know and I'll negotiate from there.

Shipping
All prices are based on pick-up only, which I strongly prefer (particularly for larger/heavier items). However, happy to work with buyers to help co-ordinate shipping at their expense. Car and all parts located on Brisbane's Northside.

Availability
I am just starting to strip the car now so not everything will be immediately available. Patience will be requested, but if something's urgent I will do my best to accommodate.

Thanks
Rory

Hi Phil

Yes, I could arrange to ship this to Melbourne for you. Shouldn't add much more than around $15 perhaps? I'll get a price and let you know sometime this weekend.

Cheers

Hi and sorry to thread digg...
But I really really want to know what type of front splitter that was on offer/pictured?
Please let me know brand/where I may source such from. I shall in turn heap praise and thanks upon you!
If I can locate such I shall like to obtain the side skirts...

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

The part is actually a genuine part from a Seat Cupra R. They are very cheap to buy (anywhere between GBP18 - GBP40), but due to the awkward size the freight as quite exxy. That's why I bought 2, so I could use one and sell the other to offset the cost.

The problem is, if you approach a company in the UK they invariably say they don't ship this item internationally due to cost. I think I paid around AUD100 and was happy to do so, but it took some convincing to get them to even get a quote from their shippers. Sadly, I can't remember their name, but if you try searching UK car forums this item appears alot as it fits numerous makes and models so it's a high-demand item.

One company that sells them in the US is here -

http://www.oemplus.com/front-spoiler-cupra-r-p-64.html

At USD80 it's no bargain, and I've a funny feeling they wouldn't ship to Australia, but worth an email. Also, that listing quotes the OEM part number so use that for further searches.

Best of luck, and post some pics of your Alfa.

I look forward to having praise and thanks heaped upon me  ;D

Ah you Legend! - Thank you - Thank you - Thank you.
:D

Much praise and fortune coming your way.

I'll post some photos of my Alfa once I've finished painting and refitting the headlights (blacked out OEM ones)
Though when finished it'll be identical to the photo on some of your links - same blue/17" GTA wheels/M3 type boot spoiler/V6
only done 53000ks

Hi Rory,

I'd be interested in the side skirts, clear indicators, some interior pieces and possibly the exhaust if you still have these?
Curious as to the brake calipers too - are they stock types?
Please email me: nay300@gmail.com

By the way I've now sourced a front splitter from the US ~ thanks again for your direction and posted photos influencing this decision :)

Hi everyone

While I still have plenty of parts available for sale, due to my accepting a fly-in/fly-out job in WA it will be harder to strip bits off and ship them. If you have any part queries please send me a PM and we can still discuss and negotiate, however I will only be able to work on the car on my weeks home (4 on/1 off).

Cheers

Hi Rory,

Have you got the driver's door window controls in perfect condition with little or no scratches?

Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian

Yes I have this unit and it is in very good condition.

There is one visible scratch on the top surface, it didn't come out in the pics until I got one where the flash hit it square on so this makes it look worse than it really is. Also, there are a few white marks on the inside of the grab handle, can't see them when you're seated in the car and they may well clean off - haven't had a chance to try. The driver's window button was replaced a short time ago and I have spares of these available too if any of the others break.

Note: this is off the early series car so has the original style switches. These are not interchangeable with the later ones so you may need to check this will be compatible with your needs.

I've seen rougher ones advertised for over $100, I'd be looking for $75 plus shipping (can't see this being more than approx. $15).

If you're keen I basically have 24hrs to get this packed and posted, otherwise it will have to wait 4 weeks until I'm back - let me know ASAP.

Cheers
Rory
