Getting a car prepped to race and noticed the rear engine mount broken, no worries, i have about 10 ally extensions, but seems that there is two sizes 62 and 64mm.
Who knows what size is relative to which car? I tried to source a new one but europe has stopped making the 62mm version , so I'm told ,making them difficult to find.

Duk this one reads like the small bush (no dimensions though?)

alternatively, I can't seem to locate the thread now, on AlfaBB I recently read of a chap over there that fabricated one from a universal poly bush with steel sleeve insert. Makes sense, as the bush is captive between the hanging arms, so it won't fall out. Not sure if he found the right size or had the reshape a little, which wouldn't be difficult.

I understand the 62mm was for 4 cylinder cars, the 64mm is in my GTV6.  I recently replaced one.  I bought one from IAP in the US but when it arrived it was only about 63.7 and fell straight through the hole, which was a bit of a problem.  I gave Turin Imports in Adelaide a call and they have found someone who makes them again.  They were slightly more expensive than IAP but it worked so cheaper really.  There is a lesson somewhere.

D'oh! sorry Duk, just realised I was posting about the transmission mount, not the engine. My bad, sorry...

FYI, ran into an alfa guru last night and asked the question. 64mm was for gtv6 but 2 litre had both sizes throughout production.
For track work he recommended to fill the void with a polyurethane sealant to reduce play in the bush. Let it dry before you fit it.

Duk
I got a small rear engine mount from OKP in Germany (then found I needed the larger size & sleeved the bearing housing), Try them.

Cheers
