I'm keen on a GTA located on the Gold Coast.
Can anyone recommend someone familiar with the marque that can conduct a PPI for me?
The sellers mechanic has advised that the cambelts only need replacing after 90,000km so I have discounted him.

Thank you in advance.

Apart from the mechanical considerations, buying any car from a coastal location should always be balanced by just exactly how close to the shore line the car actually lives. Hinterland, probably O.K.. Seafront or close to it, give it a miss no matter how good it looks now.

Hey twisty,

Sorry for the late reply. I don't personally know any Alfa mechanics on the coast but AROCA Qld member and well-known Alfa racer Paul Young is likely to know someone who can help. Youngie is located on the southern end of the coast (actually just over the border in Mexico), where he runs Sunshine Auto Electrical. You can call him on 0411 592 175.

Cheers,

Brent
