Could this be the beginning of the end?
I know Harley Davidson gobbled up MV a few years back and then sold it back to the Count only a year or so back, just after the brown hit the rotating device, for a solitary Buck, that's right $1.00!
I can't see Frau Merckel's crew ever letting go of Ducati not even for 850 Million Euro which is alledgedly the purchase price.

Mmm ...... haven't come across a piece of software I can ride yet! or a Smartphone that looks or sounds like a Ducket.
Ballpark calc .... 850 Mega Euros, is about A$1 billion and 1.3 billion South Pacific Pesos

Jokes aside, my point was, how long before the Propellor Blades or Three Pointed star dudes make a play for the Full Monty?  Helmut lets take Manhatten Milan too!

Reminds me of a joke that was sent to me.....

Frau Merckel on a recent trip to Athens, whilst clearing customs, dutifully asked by a customs officer .....

"Occupation" ......?

"No .... just here for a few days"
