My precious 69 GTV TS, hit in the rear while stationary, this time in traffic on Pacific Highway :(.

Folk, I'm going to be looking for some support, especially with recommendations to reputable and trustworthy parts and repair shops in Sydney - close to Chatswood would be an advantage. I'm new up here - the car itself has only been here a month - and I have no connections.

Luckily the boot lid seems to have survived (though I can't open it, so no guarantees yet), bits of the (series 2) bumper may be repairable, but both overriders are flat, the rear panel and left rear tail-light and quarter both history. Fuel tank slightly bent but may be repairable.

Help!

GTV-074

That's terrible....

Hope you have a sympathetic insurance company and they do the right thing by you.

My GTV was rear ended a couple of times baco in the 80's. I don't know of your circumstances but I saw both
mine coming but had no were to go - not a nice feeling.

At least it sounds like its repariable.

Good luck and hang in there!

Cheers,

Paul.
Speed costs money - how fast do you want to go?

I don't know Sydney, but I don't think that's too far from Manning Motors in Brookvale.

Oh.  And I'm very sorry Clifford.  That's a real shame.
