2013 Competition dates

Planning for 2013 competition dates is underway but none will be confirmed until end of year.

Current plans are:
2 Phillip Island (Jun/Jul and Dec), 3 if I can get it, got to be pretty lucky

2 Sandown (May and Sept)

2 Broadford, if we are lucky (Feb and/or Apr and/or Nov)

2 Winton (Mar and Aug)

2 Circuit training including Driver Education (Mar and Aug)

AROCA 6 hr (Oct)

As luck would have it, semi-confirmed dates for Sandown are May 12 (Mother's Day) and Sept 1 (Father's Day).  Special celebrations at these sprints for the mums and dads.

If you can't get 3 in for Philip Island is there any chance of bringing the June / July date forward . Not unexpectedly it has rained on 2 of the last 3 June July meeting's .   This years early Feb meeting was a hoot and  well attended.

Any PI before the PI historic?

Try as I may, we wouldn't get a date in Feb or March.  We used to get Feb several years back but got bumped due to World SuperBike GP.  Last year's Feb was a once off despite our previous history of having a Feb date.

PI dates are like hen's teeth.

I am trying for an Apr date.

I don't have many favours left.

We are left in the hands of the PI gods.

Do you know what the dates for the track re surfacing are? I thought it was going to be done before christmas , hence we lost this years early December date. MSCA still have a sprint scheduled  at PI for the 18th November

That likes like a great program Neil. The only one who looks like missing out is " Mother". I'm sure she will understand. By the way for those who forget your wife is not your mother. So don't put up with any bleeding heart stories.   (famous last words). See you all trackside in 2013 .

2013 Competition calendar has been updated.

9 sprints, possibly 10, at 4 tracks, 2 driver training, and the Alfa 6 hr.  Pretty exciting and full.

Added in Nov 17 at Phillip Island.

Makes 10 sprints at 4 circuits, 2 circuit/driver training days, Alfa 6 hr.

In addition, motokhana on 17-Feb at Geelong Motorsport Complex, TBC.

Looking pretty jam packed and exciting.
