Where to start? I have owned an 1800 GT for some fifteen years having bought it from the original owner. It had been butchered, buggered and botched up which I didn't discover till a little later when things started to go to the proverbial. I guess the story resonates with many. However being a little away from major centres I felt pretty much out of the loop and relied on the local autoparts retailer (who had worked on alfas in the past) for guidance, parts and invaluable assistance but he moved away some time ago and since then I have shopped for bits over the phone mainly in Melbourne and mainly second hand (I live half way between Melbourne and Sydney). The car has  been sitting idle for couple of years after having had the body done ... rust removed and repainted ... its time to get into some serious work ... the motor is out and I am working through all other sections of the car brakes, transmission, suspension and the first question to all is what to do about parts? Who gives best prices and service? I saw reference to Highwood Alfa in the Uk and have checked out their website which would appear to be the most comprehensive I've seen. I'd really appreciate any comments

Turin Imports in Adelaide have some parts, also The Spares Place.  Highwood are good and OKP in Germany.
Good luck
