On Saturday 17th November we will be hosting an informal dinner to celebrate Spettacolo 2012.

All Club members, interstate guests, Spettacolo organizers and volunteers are most welcome to attend.  We are already taking bookings as many regional and interstate AROCA members will be in Melbourne to enjoy this important annual event on the Club calendar.

Time:       Arrive at 6.30 pm for 7.00 pm start.

Location:   Rising Sun Hotel
Corner Raglan St & Eastern Rd,
      South Melbourne.

Cost:      Set Menu $40.00 per person. (Drinks not included.)

This year is also the 50th Anniversary of the introduction of Giulia 105 series cars in addition to the 2600 Series.  We will be holding a showcase of member cars to celebrate this event. A 'Bertone Tribute' highlighting the development of Alfa Romeo and Bertone design over the last 100 years is also being planned.

History of our marque and ownership of significant and historic vehicles is most important to the Club as we will be looking at expanding our activities in these areas.   This includes development of the registers with more activities for Concorso Displays and associated events.

We look forward to your participation and book early as places are limited.  Note that we are having an earlier start than usual in order to finish at a reasonable hour.

RSVP by 15th November.  For Bookings Contact:

We have about 10 interstate guests and about the same from our club so bookings are on the increase.

That said, if you are still deciding, get organised and commit to supporting your club and those people who have travelled to join us on the night.

It will be an informal fun night so come along.

Cheers

Hi
As John mentioned we will have a number of interstate guests including club historian David Wright and National Register co-ordinator Tony McKone from AROCA NSW. Tony is a guest concourse judge and is travelling down from NSW with his daughter, Frankie, the NSW AROCA editor. So come along and say hello. As John said it will be informal and fun.
Best Regards
