As my Twinspark project is nearly ready for rego / blueslip, I'm thinking about selling my 1990 75 V6 Potenziata.
Late model Motronic engine management system with integrated spark & injector control via crank angle sensor.

It has the usual awesome power & handling, ordinary paint (5 shades of Alfa red), faded rear seat headrests, unhappy handbrake.
There is no rust, this is a totally straight ex showcar.
This car was bought about 14 months ago from Avanti (Brisbane) who serviced it from near new, it previously belonged to senior AROCA Qld alfisti (who showed it).
I expect there is still a full service history on Richards computer.

Fully serviced, good rubber throughout (tires, guibos, seals, etc), 100% factory original including wheels, except lowered a little, 2 1/4" exhaust, grey grille and orange tail indicators.
Recently had new radiator, battery, 80A alternator. ball joint, ipod stereo, stainless rear muffler.
Starts first pop every time, great foot brakes, no leaks.

Car is inland north NSW, for any special photos email me at dbuckley(a)une.edu.au
I'll post some pictures soon.

A quick clip to show how good the startup & gearchange is.
Gearchange is excellent, partly because this car has had great servicing all its life, and partly because of the Redline Lightweight Shockproof oil  in the LSD transaxle.

Hi Dave
Do you have a price your looking at for the car?

Thanks
Dave

Hi DaveB,
Your car looks very tidy. I am intrigued by the rear section. My 1989 75TS and Potenziata has the long boot reflector in red as well as the rear lenses in red. I always thought the amber reflectors and lenses were from Pre-1989 75s but I could be wrong?
Just wondering as yours is a 1990 model , so could the lenses and reflector have been changed at some stage? Or would that dispel my theory of all Pre 1989 only had amber lenses and reflectors?
Cheers

Potenziatas did not come with the orange reflector or series 1 75 tail lights, someone has obviously replaced them for some reason  :)

Guys

Good to see the interest, & thanks to all those who have contacted me.

BTeoh and VeeSix are correct, this car should have red lenses with white turn and reverse indicators. (white on red).
They are changed, as noted line 7 of the first post in this thread. They were cracked and swapped out for a good set of orange tails.
It seems the flashers were turned on in the brochure picture below (Stapleton motors, Ballarat), and the red stripe reversing lens shows these are the rare red on red indicators.
The text accurately describes the dual nature of the Motronic V6 and shows the correct badge position for a Potenziata.

Orange indicators and RHS badging are found on the earlier, non motronic 3L.  More info on the differences can be found here.

POA, no tirekickers or scraphunters please.

I have seen the badges in so many different positions and am not 100% sure if there is a designated factory spot for them, they were probably put on by dealers when the vehicles arrive in Australia  ;)

How much rego and what is the asking price?

johnnyc

this thing looks the absolute spit of mine; though the 3.0 v6 badges on mine are on the right rear, not the left. no green clover leaf either.

Send me a PM if you are interested.
