Hi, Anyone out there using the Hurricane Headers for the Guilietta?

Looks like the deal is for primaries only.. not bad value for money to enable exhaust wrapping them.. pic attached.. any comments welcome..

38.1mm primaries, 44.5mm collector outlet.. flange join to OEM secondaries..

Anyone know the size of the tubing of the OEM secondaries(engine pipes)..

Make sure that the flanges have been made with the holes cut on the correct angle to match the head to manifold flange angle.
Otherwise, don't bother.

thanks, is this from experience, or just a tip? (either way a good tip, didn't think of it personally :D )

Have you seen these in the flesh? quality of steel etc?

It's a tip.
I've seen a few sets of headers that had their head flange ports cut parallel to the bolt holes. This gives a very nasty 'mitered bend' when the exhaust gasses exit the ports (in the head) and enter the exhaust runners.
Ultimately such an approach is badly compromised and not worth spending money on.

And 'no' I haven't seen these headers, so I can't comment on them.

I have an older set of these on a '77 GTV (they came with the car).
I've had to weld up a few splits in the tubes, mostly on the outside radius of bends.
Also I've had trouble witht the secondary flanges - they bend and distort and then won't seal.
Next time they're off I'll probably replace those flanges with some thicker ones.
