Front Quarter Vent Rubber Replacement

Hey Guys, so after just about defeating my window regulator (wow what a PIA) I thought id change the rubbers on the quarter vents aswell as they look pretty average.

Is there a proven/easier process to change them over?

My amateur plan was to remove the windows, cut the old one out then reinstall. Seems rather easy no? I thought so about the window reg aswell
