Hi all
I have a 1750 105 and i need to replace a failed steering box, Do i have to remove the engine to replace a steering box or will it squeeze out?? i have looked a bit before i start the repair and thought i would ask

Remove the Carbys only, then everything else=steering wheel, shaft support under dash, steering rods=2,then the bolts that attach the steering box to the car

Exactly as Robert says :)

I did this on a friends car a little while ago and scribbled down some notes if it helps here: http://www.alfaclubvic.org.au/forum/index.php?topic=6781.msg40574;topicseen#msg40574
