This will be our first club run for the year and will be a pleasant run down to the Peninsula with a morning tea stop in Mornington, then on to a lunch location for some good food and great conversation.
date : Feb. 3rd, Meeting at Windows on the Bay, Peter Scullin Reserve, 333 Beach Road, Mordialloc.
This will be an inspiring drive and the Club will have a morning tea stop tentatively at Mornington where we have the opportunity to meet up with local members and late arrivals. This will be a short break to relax and have a cuppa before we proceed to our final destination for lunch at Ciao Bella Restaurant. We have organized a set menu. $25.00 p/p for shared platters of Antipasto and gourmet authentic Italian pizzas, drinks not included.
All Club Members are welcome to attend. For members and friends with vintage and historic vehicles, we suggest an earlier departure at 9.00 am sharp so we can all meet up at the same time for morning tea.
Route instructions will be provided at the start.
Bookings essential for lunch , as we have a limited number of seats for 20 - 25 people

And one of the bizarre things that happened was, when we were at Cape Shank???? or Point Cook or Bondi, somewhere that had a big lighthouse, as we were driving out there were tourists getting off the tourist bus, and as the Alfa Romeo crew drove out in their cars, the tourists all watched as we went past and clapped and waved to us as the Alfa's drove past, and being polite people of course, we waved back to them like we were Royalty, icing on the cake for a great day, cannot wait to the next Cruise, [not the car], come and join us and see what all the fun is about, Colin.
