Title: AROCA Defensive Driver Training 22 March 2014
Post by: Neil Choi on November 27, 2013, 10:19:10 PM
Hello all,

2013 is not yet over but it is now time for 2014 planning.

Scheduled is our YEARLY Defensive Driver Training program.

The club promotes this special program once a year for the members and is scheduled for Saturday 22 March at Winton Raceway.

The program and duration is yet to be determined but dependent on numbers and interest.

The Defensive Driver Training program is for suited for all, from experienced, lady, young, matured, learner, P-plate, beginner, teenage, in fact all drivers.  It is for you to experience various different driving conditions such as wet and dry tarmac, dirt and grass surface, let you experience heavy braking and swerving, feel how ABS brakes work, and many other aspects of your Alfa or non Alfa.  It is conducted under a controlled and safe environment.

Cost is minimal for the defensive driver training program, it is basically a gift from the club to its members and their family especially teenage learner drivers.

The skills and experience gained will outweigh the cost.

If you are interested, please contact me on phone 0433 11 66 47 (preferably not during business hours) or email compsec@alfaclubvic.org.au

Expression of interest is now called so planning can begin.

Planning has now started with a great program being set.

Again, calling for Expression of Interest, the more who register, the better it gets because we then know numbers.

It is suited to all, adults, teens, male, female, experienced or inexperienced.  You get to learn how to drive your car, experience what the ABS feels like under emergency and extreme conditions, test your skills, learn new things.

The cost will be very reasonable, the more entries, the better the pricing.

It is a club activity which we put on to give back to the members, highly subsidised, so by entering you basically getting some of your membership fee back.

It is with a lot of regret to announce that this year's training program will be the last for awhile and possibly ever.
