Title: I.C.E installations - recommendations required.
Post by: krysRAW = AROCA-Vic PR = on May 05, 2014, 09:58:14 AM

Sup?!  ;D

So with the installation of my coilovers and dropping the ride height lower than the 30mm drop from standard that I already have, it has occurred to me that I may my hit concrete buffer blocks with my front/back bumper when parking in public car parks.

So I've decided to install a review mirror monitor:

With a reversing camera in the rear, a forward facing camera for the front with a switch to power on the front camera (rear camera is automatic when reverse gear is engaged).

Anyone here have any suggestions and experience with installers of I.C.E? Any recommendations?

All I want is the job done so the equipment looks OEM (minimum to no wires visible), and someone that knows what they're doing. Last thing I want is someone breaking interior components or damaging or disabling safety features in my car  :o

Give Rob @ Italian Automotive Spares a call.

He installed a blue tooth system for Alfa156Melb1/Alfa156Melb in his 156 GTA.

You could see Brett and Sam at Phatt Audio Concepts. They are Victoria's - and one of Australia's - premier custom installation outfit. They have produced many of the 'demo' vehicles for distributors, including the Alpine cars. But they do large down to small jobs 'to a standard' rather than 'to a price'.

The job you're after isn't massive, so any highly professional/skilled installer could do it. Other places I would suggest include Freeway Car Audio, GL Pro Sound, and Autobarn Narre Warren (one of only a handful of stores with a good dedicated car audio team).
