Title: Mechanic Recommendation - Northern Alfa Thomastown
Post by: AgeG on May 28, 2014, 01:02:30 PM
Hello fellow alfisti,

I have been meaning to do this for a while but I just wanted to recommend that anyone looking for a mechanic for italian cars in northern suburbs of Melbourne, I can recommend Vince Sartor of Northern Alfa, based in Temple Drive Thomastown.

I am in no way affiliated with Vince, but I have used him for a few years now and he is dilligent, offers value for money and takes the time to explain what work has been done and why.

Its great that we have such a good support network of reputable mechanics to call upon to keep our treasured beasts in top shape.

regards,

Adrian Gervasoni

We have a good spread of Alfa Romeo workshops across the suburbs and I have has a few people mention him before.

His contact details would be great and we may be able to organise some sponsorship and mutual benefit.

All things being equal, it is good to get positive recommendations, feedback, choice and better rewards for fellow alfisti.

Cheers

Another recommendation for Vince
Vince has looked after my cars since 1995 when he had Veloce
Spares.

Great mechanic, extremely knowledgable and honest and just an all round nice guy.
Cheers Pep

AgeG,

Yes correct I got power steering added as well. The car drives like day night compared to before. This is how they should have come from the factory in my opinion  ;)
Again Vince did a marvellous job and a real nice, genuine guy.

I also highly recommend Vince. Always provides great service. Very knowledgeable and a nice guy all round. Worth a visit if you're from the northern suburbs and got an Italian car or two.

Vince has helped me with my cars since Michael P left the north, and he's always willing to lend a hand on track days too. Top bloke
