Title: v6 gearbox, buy a car with a rebuilt one?
Post by: t-rev on September 03, 2014, 07:28:12 PM
Hi, i'm checking a car that has a had a diff blowout. The q2 has been fitted, but the gearbox was re-built. Any thing to look out for in a gearbox like this? Apparently the 'bell housing has been welded, and the syncro's replaced and the work was done at a reputable independent in Melbourne(Brunswick),any thoughts on this? Advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks
